Couple

Sydney Engagement Story & İsteme Ceremony : The word İsteme in Turkish translates to "asking" or "requesting," encapsulating the essence of this cherished engagement ceremony. Traditionally, the groom’s family visits the bride’s home to formally request her hand in marriage and seek her family’s blessing. One of the delightful moments of the İsteme ceremony is the serving of Turkish coffee, prepared by the bride-to-be as a gesture of warmth and hospitality. A playful twist accompanies this tradition: the groom’s cup is sometimes mixed with salt or spices, testing his patience and humour. His reaction is seen as a reflection of his temperament and a lighthearted reminder that marriage is not always sweet. Needless to say, the groom on this occasion passed the test with flying colours!

“We received some wonderful candid photos from our engagement in Sydney and our pre-wedding photoshoot in the Blue Mountains. The entire experience felt organic and enjoyable. Highly recommend!”

Maternity

Western Sydney Maternity Photoshoot : This session was a testament to how much a narrative can evolve within a single hour. We began with the quiet, understated intimacy of casual home portraits before transitioning into a Winnie the Pooh-inspired photoshoot. As the session unfolded, we moved outdoors, capturing the soft, natural light of a nearby park to complete a diverse visual story and allowing the couple to move between these distinct moods with complete creative agency and ease.

Moshi is absolutely fantastic. Her photos captured emotions and moments so deeply that years later, we would always remember vividly the joy and comfort she brought us that day. Amazing Photographer!

Strongly recommend.”

Portraits

A few frames from our spontaneous photo session with Nav reminded me how portrait photography continues to evolve, not just as an art form, but as a tool for personal branding. These short, intentional shoots offer a chance to align your visual identity with your voice – playful, professional, or somewhere in between. Nav was an absolute joy to photograph, lighting up the session in her cozy pink jumper. We spent the time reminiscing about old dreams and new goals, a perfect way to unwind from the usual routine.

It was a quick, fun photoshoot experience in the park - so relaxed, it felt like reliving a carefree day from my youth. Highly recommend!

Family

The Kozhukattai Ceremony (often called Pallu Kozhukattai or the "First Tooth Ceremony") is a South Indian tradition celebrated when a baby’s first tooth finally makes its debut. It is a gathering centered around the baby’s transition to a lifelong relationship with food. The heart of the ceremony is the Kozhukattai: a delicate, steamed dessert.

First, the Kozhukattai Rain: The most iconic visual of the day. A white lace cloth or a traditional arisi murum (rice sieve) is held over the baby’s head while the family pours a "rain" of kozhukattais and other symbolic items over the baby (all gently gently). Second, there is the fortune-telling game where the child’s future path is playfully predicted by the item they choose to grasp. These tokens typically include a book or pen for education and knowledge, gold for wealth, and currency for prosperity. During this session, the tradition took a poetic turn when our subject bypassed the gold to reach for a pen, perhaps signalling a scholar or prolific writer in the making.

“Great photos and we received them within three days.”

Products

What began as a conversation with a friend launching her home-based candle venture became a study in quiet dedication. My goal was to move beyond conventional product photography to illuminate the alchemy behind her craft. By utilising raw materials and the intimacy of her own space, we documented the business not as a marketplace display, but as an authentic extension of her devotion. This remains the core of my approach: providing tangible, visual support for small-scale ventures by capturing the genuine heart of their creation.
